Aims
The aim of this module is to extend students’ ability to use theory, tools and techniques of modern construction management and train the students with practical applications of project management and BIM.
Learning outcomes 
A. Produce a quantity take off and a cost estimating for a small construction projects.

B. Evaluate the performance of construction project by using earned value method.

C. Analyze and apply the process of productivity improvement for construction projects.

D. Apply of modern management tools to construction projects.

E. Evaluate the importance of sustainable construction and its practical application to China.

F. Utilize project management software and BIM software for construction projects.

Method of teaching and learning 
The module is taught through formal lectures and class tutorials.
